Stress
It
is well known that anxiety and stress can cause some
illnesses, and can greatly increase others. The
difficulty lies in finding out the best way to deal with
this problem.
There
are, of course, some simple muscle relaxation methods
which can sometimes be useful, but we're impressed with
a new anti-stress approach using "psychological
acupressure" that is getting excellent ratings from
health practitioners.
It's
called Emotional
Freedom Technique ("EFT" for short) and it can be used on the
spot to radically reduce or eliminate anxiety and
physical tension. EFT requires only light tapping with
your hands of certain spots on the face and hands, and
the repetition of certain targeted phrases while you do
this.
It
is remarkably helpful in keeping you emotionally
balanced and at ease even under severe pressures — a
big plus for any of us.
